We conducted an interview with Ksenia Yurkinas, the Medical Director of Chaika Tbilisi Clinic. Ksenia shared insights about the team, equipment, and interior of the new clinic.

Which specialties of doctors provide consultations at the clinic?

In Tbilisi, we have doctors who provide consultations in the following specialties: general medicine/internal medicine, pediatrics, allergology-immunology, endocrinology, neurology, rehabilitation, dermatology, and gynecology. One of the main features of the Chaika Tbilisi is that our general practitioners and pediatricians are ready to provide consultations on almost any issue. Whether it's a check-up, vaccination planning, or questions related to gastroenterology, cardiology, rheumatology, or hematology, our doctors' wide range of interests helps avoid additional consultations and significantly saves the patient's time. If a consultation with other specialists is needed, whom we do not have at the clinic, we will always provide guidance on where to seek assistance in Tbilisi!

We aim to become a unique guide in the world of a health for everyone who comes to us: to be relied upon in any situation, no matter how complex it may be.

What kind of team has been assembled for the clinic?

We have an international team, and the majority of our doctors are fluent in three languages. We have been very meticulous in the selection of specialists, and it's an understatement to say that we have been fortunate to have true professionals in their field!

What medical equipment is available at the clinic?

The clinic is equipped with all the necessary equipment: ultrasound scan, electrocardiograph, dermatoscope, and colposcope. More "advanced" diagnostic imaging, such as CT scan and MRI, are available at our partner clinics.

Will the clinic offer services that are not widely available in Tbilisi?

We place an emphasis on a healthy lifestyle, sports, and preventive care. Preventive care goes hand in hand with vaccination, so we actively plan to develop this area. Chaika Tbilisi will provide vaccines such as Bexsero, Rotarix suspension, and many other. We will be among the first in Georgia to offer monoclonal antibody therapy for migraines, and we will also provide treatment for headaches using botulinum toxin injectables (Botox). So, we have many plans! We want Chaika Tbilisi to be not only a clinic but also an educational center for our patients and colleagues.

Will the clinic accept insurance programs?

Yes, we plan to work with international insurance companies, but patients can already come to us: we provide all the necessary medical and financial documents for insurance reimbursement.

What is the size of the clinic?

The clinic has an area of approximately 300 square meters. It consists of 8 rooms, including a procedure room and an ultrasound diagnostics room.

Is there anything special about the interior and atmosphere of the new clinic?

Chaika Tbilisi is a special project for me. Despite its concrete, rugged interior, I associate the clinic with a pearl: you know, the one that was searched for a long time at the bottom of the sea and finally found. I wanted to "soften" the ruggedness of the interior with cozy details, which is why we have colorful pillows and red chairs, reminiscent of the "signature red" of the Chaika. We also have a convenient parking area and a cozy courtyard surrounded by pine trees. From the pediatrician's room, there is a view directly onto the children's playground. As you can imagine, we couldn't have dream for anything better!
