I am an obstetrician-gynecologist with nearly ten years of experience. I support women’s health at different stages of life — from contraception and pregnancy planning to antenatal care and menopause.
It is important to me that after the appointment, each patient understands what is happening, whether treatment is needed, and what to do next. I explain test results clearly and discuss the available management options. My practice is based on evidence-based medicine and current clinical guidelines. I do not order tests or prescribe medication “just in case,” and I do not treat isolated laboratory findings without considering symptoms. Patients are welcome to ask any questions, including those that may feel awkward or minor. We make decisions together, taking into account the patient’s health, plans, and preferences. I have also completed certified training in breastfeeding support. This helps me take breastfeeding into account when selecting investigations and treatment during the postpartum period. Reasons to Consult Me routine gynecological check-up; cervical cancer screening; menstrual irregularities, painful or heavy periods; bleeding between periods; lower abdominal pain and chronic pelvic pain; pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse; itching, burning, or unusual vaginal discharge; recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis; contraception counselling and selection; preconception care and pregnancy care; postpartum recovery and contraception; investigations and treatment compatible with breastfeeding; uterine fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, endometrial polyps, and ovarian cysts; perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms; a second opinion on a diagnosis, investigation, or treatment. I believe in gynecology without shame, fear-mongering, or unnecessary prescriptions. A good appointment ends with the patient leaving with a clear plan of what to do next.
