My name is Anastasia, and I am a psychologist at Chaika Tbilisi. I recently joined the team and would like to introduce myself, sharing my interests and values in my work.
For the past 9 years, I have been working in the field of mental health
Primarily, I have been involved in scientific research, but I have also dedicated a lot of attention to clinical practice as a psychiatrist.
Over the last 5 years, I have developed a particular interest in psychotherapeutic work, which has truly allowed me to enhance my knowledge and broaden my experience. I have gravitated towards the cognitive-behavioral approach (CBT), known for its structure, sequence, and dynamism, enabling me to personalize my approach to each individual and help them improve their quality of life.
Among the issues I address as a psychologist are mood disorders, anxiety disorders (phobias, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, including health anxiety and social anxiety), somatic symptom and related disorders (pain syndrome), emotional dysregulation (irritability, aggression, self-harm), insomnia, eating disorders and behaviors, crisis situations related to loss or separation, self-esteem issues, burnout, procrastination, and difficulties with planning.
I am fluent in both English and Russian, and I am eager to assist patients in both languages
I am delighted to meet you all and look forward to our fruitful interaction!
